Tina Smith - Choir Director

Tina, a Tucsonan for over 20 years, has always had a passion for music. As early as elementary school, she has directed choirs and went on to acquire her Bachelor of Music (B.M.), specializing in Vocal Performance. Since then, Tina has directed choirs both in the U.S. and abroad. She has always envisioned the concept of reaching across cultures, generations, and Christian denominations as a representation of what God’s heavenly choir should be right here on Earth, and T.E.A.M City Choir is the realization of that vision.

Mr. G has been a Tucsonan for the past 20 years and is an ardent supporter of the Christian music Praise and Worship community and the arts.

 

DeShonda McFadden - Secretary

 

DeShonda has a background in Human Resources and has been serving in the church for over 20 years.  Her strength is in Women's Ministry and she is passionate about people.  Deshonda has sung in various choirs since childhood.  She loves to show a lot of love and adoration for Christ through her praise and believes that only what you do for Christ will last.

Dr. Jacqueline Ford

Dr. Jacqueline Ford has been rendering mental and spiritual services here in Arizona.  She believes that music ministers to man's body, mind, and spirit.  It leads men to the throne room of God.  Here they seek to strum His heart as they dance before Him while Totally Exalting the Anointed Messiah!

Pamella Peavy

Pam discovered music and singing and fell in love with them in middle school.  She has been involved in worship ministries her whole adult life.  Moving to Tucson in 1979, she quickly found a church and became a part of their small choir. After the loss of her husband, God’s journey led her to a new husband who attended a large church. She sat out joining the choir for six months but then could wait no longer. She became part of the choir and worship team.  33 years later she is still there.  “I believe leading worship is a privilege. You get to go before the saints of God and lead them into the Spiritual Battle.  We are Warriors and Worshippers!”

Bill Rutherford

Since accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1977, Bill has had a keen interest in music ministry.  As God’s Word is proclaimed in song, he has seen the Holy Spirit make positive changes in people’s lives, both as participants and listeners.  Being part of TEAM city choir is truly a blessing.

Jervis Peters

Jervis is a native Tucsonan and a US Navy veteran. He is a committed Christian soldier and a prayer warrior who delights in the praise and worship of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a member of TEAM City Choir, Jervis is dedicated to reaching Tucson through music, praise and worship. 

Naomi Carter

Naomi has been ministering as a member of T.E.A.M. City Choir since 2021. She became a resident of Tucson in 2016. Naomi loves praising and worshiping God. She has a heart for seeing women, men, children, marriages, families, and communities thrive. Her relationship in Christ deepened when her parents were called home to be with the Lord. She has a sensitivity towards those who are grieving and dealing with life's struggles. Naomi desires to share the love of Christ with others.
